She has over 17 years of nursing experience in Neurology, Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine.

Elite Family Medicine welcomed Mrs. Elkins in May 2019. She works alongside Dr. Allen Whitten as his Nurse Practitioner.

Mrs. Elkins is married with a son and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

In 1990, Dr. Kosobucki obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Augusta College in Augusta, Georgia, and went on to obtain his Medical Degree in 1995 from the Medical College of Georgia located in Augusta.

In 1998, Dr. Kosobucki joined Columbus Regional Family Practice where he remained until 2002. In 2002, he opened Kosobucki Family Medicine and in 2014 joined Horizons Diagnostics, L.L.C.

In late 2018, Dr. Kosobucki decided to form Elite Family Medicine with his prior partner and long-time friend W. Allen Whitten, M.D. Dr. Whitten and Dr. Kosobucki opened Elite Family Medicine in 2019.

Elite Family Medicine partners with Concierge Medicine of Columbus, Inc. which includes Dr. Ronald M. Hudson, M.D., Dr. Linda Jill Moore, M.D. as well as Dr. Susan S. Westerlund, M.D., Gynecology, Women’s Health & Wellness.

Dr. Kosobucki is happily married with 3 boys and he enjoys hunting as well as spending quality time with family.

Dr. Whitten went to CSU and the University of Georgia in 1989. After graduating from UGA and obtaining his BSA, Dr. Whitten received his Masters of Science and his Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 1990 and 1993.

Dr. Whitten completed his internship and residency at the Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. He joined Horizons Diagnostics, L.L.C. in 1996 and in 2019 opened Elite Family Medicine with fellow partner Daniel Kosobucki.

Dr. Whitten has served as Chairman of Family Practice and on the Medical Executive Committee at St. Francis Hospital. He is a member of the Muscogee County Medical Society, Medical Associates of Georgia, and the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Whitten is happily married with 2 children. He enjoys hunting and spending quality time with family.

LaDonna furthered her nursing career by obtaining her Masters in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2001.

Mrs. Ledford practiced medicine with Ronald Hudson, M.D. for 12 years prior to joining the medical practice of Dr. Daniel E. Kosobucki, M.D. in April of 2015. In 2019, she relocated her practice with Dr. Kosobucki, M.D. to Elite Family Medicine.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Mrs. Ledford is happily married and enjoys Auburn football and camping.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has a background in gastrointestinal disorders. Macey is happily married and enjoys photography, traveling, and hiking in her spare time.
